Artwork that speaks to your aesthetic and your values.
Introducing the ‘Acknowledgement’ Series
In Australia, we have a rich indigenous history that spans tens of thousands of years. However, that history has been forcefully and violently rewritten as colonisation spread across the continent over 250 years ago. This rewriting included the whitewashing of traditional place names. As a non-indigenous Australian it is my firm belief that we should acknowledge that the country we are on always was, and always will be Aboriginal land. An acknowledgment that includes learning about and being aware of the original names of the lands we inhabit.
30% of the profit from this series will go to the ‘Pay The Rent’ initiative.
Hi, I’m Liv.
I’m an Australian artist who lives and works on Yugumbeh Land (Gold Coast). I love creating beautiful artwork that not only speaks to my passion for all things vintage but also to my values. My day job is as a graphic designer for film and television, a job that I adore. Painting has been a constant for me since childhood and I am so happy that I now get to share that passion with others!
Art that makes a difference.
Part of my practice as an artist is to create works that reflect my values. I’m proud to say that every time you purchase one of my artwork or prints 30% of the profit made goes to various charitable organisations. You can find out where the donation goes in the description of each artwork in the shop. If you are feeling extra generous you can also donate some extra cash as you check out!
